Blake CLASS 1 4 Way Variable Gain UHF Masthead (BLAMHD14V-P)

One of the best, well designed, CE/UKCA, Class 1, RED compliant, 4G/5G filtered masthead distribution amplifiers on the market.
Designed to reduce or remove 5G and 4G interference and amplify TV frequencies within the 21-48 band (433-698MHz)
The filter characteristics are >30dB for frequencies <400Mhz and Class One EN 303 354 compliance for 5G filtered frequencies.
The amplifiers also filter TETRA signals below 400Mhz.

It has variable 1-16dB gain, Low noise figures (<2.5dB typical) and uses F type connectors on both inputs and outputs.

The amplifier is designed with linearity in mind and this allows the ability to handle strong local signals, that may overload the standard amplifier.
To ensure the lowest noise possible, we use a linear power supply within the kit and not the cheaper Switch mode transformer, this also helps improve reliability.

The case opens to a full 90 degrees and the shielded amplifier case also swings out to 45 degrees to ensure easy and quick access to the F type connectors.
The amplifier has a LED on the casing to confirm power is been received. The case is further waterproofed by a felt seal on the cable entry points, to stop moisture and insects. Although the case click locks on closure, you also have the ability to be able to screw the lid securely closed.
Current consumption of this MHA is <50mA

The linear power supply is 100mA rated with a very low 0.5dB insertion loss.
The unit has an Bi-coloured LED to display short circuit issues running from green (normal) to red (shorted)

The power supply also has infinite short circuit protection to stop damage to the unit.
The power supply complies to BS EN 60065: 2002, EMC: BS EN50083-2: 2001 (Class B)
